Hey all, so hoping to get some info to get into the snowbike world. Was looking at sleds and bikes, and I think I am going to go with a bike :)

I am in Colorado and will pretty much be riding on double tracks filled with snow! Just trying to get some answers on if carbs are good or bad for snow bikes. heard they are bad and freeze over

Have you tried both? Bikes are generally quite a bit slower and less powerful than sleds. They were never designed to run in the snow so they take a lot of work to become snow machines. Carbs can definately be an issue but are only one of the compromises you make when trying to run a bike in the snow. To top it all off, it will cost more than a sled.

Unless you are a hardcore dirt bike hero, I would go with a sled...

Good Luck, Have Fun!

Bought on last year, spent a fortune trying to keep snow out, rode it 3 times and sold it, slow and boring is what I learned
