Helping a guy work on his old iron.

Trying to get spark to the plugs.

Clutch side shows spark but Mag side is elusive.

New coils, new wires, new boots, new plugs.
- connected the test light to the wire coming into the coil, flashes as it should
- tested ground, seems good
- tested resistance through primary coil wire, seems good
- swapped plugs, nothing
- tested resistance through primary wire and plug to center electrode, seemed good
- swapped to old coil set up, nothing
- jumped ground, nothing
- changed mag wire and ground side, nothing
- swapped coil set up with working side from clutch cylinder, works
- swapped back and now spark on Mag side
- start to reassemble in proper order, nothing
- mount coils to block and no spark again.

Any thoughts on what we should be chasing?

I believe those sleds had points and condenser , dirty and/or worn points may be the cause.

Sorry I forgot to add, new points and condensors too.

With a test light, the pulse wire from the points flashes so we are assuming we are getting a good signal to the coil.
