Bill, SB 206 has passed the state senate and is on the way to the state house of representatives. SB 206 eliminates DAYLIGHT savings. No more long evenings to go on rides, yard work, walks, do chores...it will be dark one hour earlier than usual March - November.

The sun will rise at 4:30 AM during July. :bowl:

Please contact your house representatives to VOTE NO to SB 206.

Call now

I called and voiced my opinion. I like that extra hour in the evenings for everything I do outdoors. We need to get this stopped.

The wasted hour in the morning is silly. The lost hour at sunset is a waste.

Call 444-4800.
They are discussing it this week of 3/13. Heard from a co-sponsor of the bill who said the original intent was Daylight savings year round, but it required too much paperwork. The co-sponsor voted NO THey are getting lots of calls in support of it.

Please call.

I was told the vote was 28 against and 2 for -

I was thinking under this bill, during July, the birds would be singing at 3AM or earlier.

the co-sponsor of the bill - voted NO.

having Daylight Savings Year round was the original intent, but apparently there was too much paper work???

Colorado is trying to go DLS year round along with a few other states.
