Just pre-ordered a sidekick, got 150 boondollars off. If anyone is interested in saving more, pm me. Could save us both another 100 bucks.

I see a add for the spring order that has these listed:

Sidekick
Sidekick X
Boondocker GT
Boondocker MTA

I can about guess what some of them are, but what's the differences or packages?

Sidekick X is same as Sidekick but comes with injectors an allows you to run 10lbs.
The other two packages come with different turbos and adjustable boxes.

Guys with the switch are running 8-8.5 lbs @ 10,000 on pump.

10 on pump is a big stretch. Imagine it's doable somehow.

I'm sure they put a fuel limitation on the X Kit. Pulling timing to avoid running higher octane would be a joke.

Are the Sidekick packages still gonna be running a Gerrett turbo? I have heard they're not, any truth to that?

When I run the switch I usually add about 2.5-3 gallons of race fuel. Then again all year I have been adding 2 gallons of race fuel just for safety reasons and have had no issues!

Great question about the Sidekick X. I just got off the phone with my buddy at BD. It has the capability to run 10lbs boost but you will need to run race fuel. And the Sidekicks will come with the Garrett gt2860. You can upgrade of course if you like.

The Sidekick is a totally awesome kit and I have rode several and am SUPER impressed. Spot on, no adjustment and truly pull and go. I do want to throw this out there just because.....I run the GTX2860, Tial and Intercooler(with a Carls built motor). This set up is in another league. It is a monster from the second you crack the throttle all the way through the top. I have never been more happy with a sled. If you are looking for big power, and like sled that rips your arms off, this is the way to go!!!

Hmmmmm.... some info needs to get straightened out. On the BD website it says pump gas on the SidekickX @ 10lbs. I find it very hard to believe. That is what it says.

A lot info floating around about what fuel and set up that needs to be run at certain elevations. Another post says, you need to run Tial and a bunch of other things to ride the Sidekick below 3,000ft. I know of people that ran below 3,000 with no issues.

Someone with BD, kind of needs to set the info straight, to eliminate some confusion.
