i finally figured out what was causing my poor idle on a fresh rebuild. it was the pilot jet i had cleaned them before. but i guess something eles got sucked up in there. my advice is to clean bowl and everything in there VERY WELL.
so i set the carbs to brp base settings. it ran great started with no choke or cable installed or air box. at rpm at about 1500, when i put the choke cable on i think its pretty slack, and the air box. it will only idle at 1000-1200 ish coughing a bit. also if i flip the choke on while running it dies... and if i try to start it with choke it will not start untill i take the choke off... is this a sign of anything?
