any pros or cons come to mind about having running board coolers?
the ones where they are on the outside edge of the running board

i have only had the ones that go up inside the tunnel to the rear cooler, but see some of the aftermarket tunnels have them ,,

thanks

running board coolers could be more susceptible to damage if you like to play in the trees with your magnet on. seems to me the ones on the inside of the tunnel would actually cool better since they get constantly dusted with snow spinning off the track...

The biggest down side to them that I see is the shape of them compaired to the '08-'10 stock M Series rails. The edge coolers are big and round with much less grip/teeth.

Second down side is that they melt the snow into a slush on the boards and then it freezes into a harder ice chunck then it does on stock boards.

If you want less snow and ice on your boards, I suggest you powdercoat the tunnel/boards. It really does shed the snow way way better!

I absolutely love my stock boards!
