I read all about the recommended replacement bolt, but looking for advice on removing broken bolt. It broke off about 1/16 inside the shaft. Heat for lock tight loosening, then the best easy out? Square fluted, tap in then turn out or normal ez out? Done by leaving shaft in place? Angle drill shoul be able to access it.

Thanks

I have the best luck with welding a smaller diameter bolt to the broken bolt.
You can build up a little weld if it is below the surface of driveshaft, then weld a bolt to the broken off one. If you don't have welder. Left handed drill bits and easy out is the next best thing.

Yeah, no welder. With a angle drill, I have clear access. Just curious how tight they are. No rust so with a little heat to warm any thread lock, I hope it comes right out.
