Usually a wider stance allows for steeper sidehill, but it gives the sled a flop over feel where as the doo and cat it becomes a better balance point.
If you widen either of them they feel more like a poo and tip up then flop when narrowed.
But if you raise and narrow the boards and body enough it's a non issue.
Add gripper skis and it gives them as good of a balance point as possible with massive control. To get the most you will have to add steering and suspension changes.

I know what you mean with the wider stance having the flop feel to it. The G4 looks to have a ton of potential. I wonder if it will need more steering like the Xm does. I have had several times that I wish the Xm could turn another 10 degrees.
