Hey,
New to the forum and just picked up a 2013 PRO RMK 800.
Ventured away from arctic cat and have a question about the newer sled to me. It came with a CPI single pipe, not installed. question was, is it beneficial to install the pipe only with no other modifications or without a muffler section as well? or is the factory lite enough and provides good flow.
Not really sure what future plans are for the sled, as far as performance. thanks

It'll gain you maybe 10hp, but you must use a fuel controller.

By saying that you must use a fuel controller. Are you saying that just because it has a threaded bung welded already or can it be plugged off and ran like any other aftermarket pipe and can? Just curious if this pipe has certain specs that I’m not aware of.

Can’t imagine it would be different from a bikeman, slp, etc. without bungs

All aftermarket pipes for those sleds have a bung to reinstall the EGT sensor that is in the factory pipe. Also all aftermarket pipes for the pro run a fuel controller so they do not run to lean. The SLP pipe setup for the axys does not use a controller until a head and porting are added with the pipe then more fuel is required but all the 2011 thru 2015 pros required additional fuel with just a pipe.
