Has anyone priced upgrading a 2018 Mountain Cat to 2019 Alpha Handlebar controls, including tether? Wire is already there for the tether, looks like I just need the switch and cord

I was wondering about getting the 19 controls and upper harness. The plug near the coolant res is the same

the problem is the handwarmers are now controlled by the ecu/display. The sled will need to be reprogrammed for it to work. I dont think there has been anything said about doing a 2019 reflash to earlier model sleds.

personally I would just go with a munster short brake lever and a RSI throttle block/kill switch assy, momentary switch for reverse and then relocate the hand warmer controls to the console. cleans everything up very nice

I agree with bgaff1.
The 2019 controls are cleaned up on the right side but the left side is even bigger and bulkier than the big bulky controls of 2007-2018.
I think the left side of the 19s is great for trail riders and the occasional off trail rider but i wish the Mtn Cat would have removed everything but highbeams and reverse from the left side and placed them on the console.
That would leave that much smaller and cleaner, perfect for adding electric shock control in 2020....

just waiting for my relocation harness to come in to clean up the left side and then clean up the wiring but love the RSI throttle block

Interesting placement of the kill switch.....
I like that its part of the throttle block though. Short brake lever is nice but if its aluminum, ill pass. I hate that my gloves stick to aluminum brake levers.
