Is the new engine running the same rpm as the Suzuki 800 engine? I see they come with 70g weights and they say to put in 68g for 8-10000 so thats two grams more than the 17. What's everyone running in the real world, weights and rpm. My dealer has one he is gonna demo and I want to no what's working.

Just watched the Dyno tech video on this engine. looks like from 7800-8200 is right about the peak power range on this engine (160hp) should be pretty easy to tune to that broad power curve.

RPM and Weights

I just ran mine in Island Park Idaho last weekend. I put in Cutler weights at 68 grams and spun 8250 to 8300. I would think at 8000 to 10000 it will need 66 grams. I have over 15 hours on the sled now. No problems.
