here are some pics of my 2001 polaris 800 gen II getting some custom running boards put on. they are aluminum steps that you can buy at most metal distibutors, see how they work out. doing a bunch more to it as well. i will add more pics when it is done. let me know what you think.

those look pretty indestructible...but how heavy are they?

All in all, looks good, and a very creative approach to the running board concept!

There extremely light, a 12 foot chunk of that material only weighs a few pounds.
