Your gonna need to mod the motor to get to those kinds of numbers. Give Big John a call at sledhead racing. He will have all you need in regards to clutching and motor work!

Ive got the 06 800, just put in RK Tek's big bore 827 kit...They claim 163hp (non-ported) and 172hp (ported) up from stock 125-130hp.

Best advice on this thread. Hopping up a 600 is like souping up a Ford Pinto.

X3

or swap your sled out to an 800, if you get the right deal from someone parting out n 800 and you get all the component included for cheaper than the goin rate to puchase another sled .

04-06 - 140-145 hp stock

Or put a Tripple in it, Man you won`t beleive the power and torque even a stock 780, 809 tripple has, just my 02.

my buddies 780 tripple s chassis mod, stock wth crankshop pipes 165+hp now its case and cylinder ported and bored to 820 reed valves, hp coils basegasket mod and shaved head now it 190hp possibly higher

conversion in the Rev is alot of labor and the conversion kit and pipes are pricey

Good luck , Wildcard

I have an 04 600 ho summit. Per recommendation from a former ski doo mechanic I installed a thinner base gasket for the cylinders (i believe the 5 hole gasket). If you have the cylinders off replace the rings. He also recommended gutting the air box and going with 20 pilot jets, for high elevation riding I had to move the carb needles up one clip to lean out the motor a little, the 20 pilots made it run fat. I also have v force reeds, hps can, and dynamoe joe clutch kit. Sled really rips for a 600, I was running with a guy who had a big bore 800 xp and he kept commenting on how strong my 600 was. Pretty inexpensive mods for the 600, but going to an 800 rev is still very economical right now. 600 is a more reliable motor though...
