I am experiencing low voltage on the gauge on the dash meter. My dealer told me that i have a stater problem or a voltage regulator problem. I bought and installed the new regulator and still doing the same thing. So then I called them back and asked if there is a capacitor in the system and they told me no. I went to polaris parts and looked up the electrical system on line and it shows me that there is a capacitor and it is mounted in the same place as the regulator. So my question is, If I replace the capacitor will my voltage gauge come back to full capacity?
