98 Summit X spitting oil..Is there an adjustment

Hello, Just bought a 98 summit x. Its spitting oil out the muffler on the ground. More than I would like to see. I was told there is an adjustment for the intake of oil. Anyone know where or anything? This is my second summit x and my last did not use as much oil. Thank you...

is this the first time its been run this year because when they sit oil seems to fill the crank case and at the begining of the year it will smoke lots and spit quite abit of oil.

The above post is probably true the seals on the worm drive for the waterpump and rotary valve could be leaking alittle. As for adjusting the oil injection there is a hash mark on the oil injector lever and on the injection pump body that line up when the throttle lever is at idle.
