Can anybody tell me about this motor? I may be buying a 2009 Renegade 600 with the e-tec motor.

What are you looking for from this sled? Just a good, fun sled that you will use stock?

If that is the intended purpose, then it is a good motor for the most part. If you are looking to turn it into a full tilt mountain killer, it has its issues.

great motor but some people had electrical problems. Go to www.dootalk.com you can read alot about them over there.

It would stay stock, it would be for my wife or daughters to ride in Minnesota and a first Wyoming experience.

Then it will be a good sled! They are fun, have effortless throttle pull and make decent power and do it all while getting really good fuel economy.

For those of us who dont want to go four stroke, the e tec is the answer.

I work at a ski doo dealer in the Rockies, we only sold a few 600 e tec summits, but all customers were really happy and we had no issues or come backs.
Great sled, super clean running engine and great economy(fuel and oil)
