I have a little problem . I switched tracks on my Switchback. I pulled the track and made the switch and now ready to put it back together and I don't remember which way the lower gear in the chaincase goes in. Lack of a better term, does the nipple side or the flat side face out?

Flat side out, raised side in. The top gear has a spacer in behind it, the raised surface of the bottom gear lines the gears up. If you put it in with the flat side in it would rub on the chaincase and you would see the gears/chain would not line up.

Thanks! I am going out to Grand Lake this week for a week of riding and now I can be at ease that I have it together correctly.
