Does anybody know where I can get a engine mount. It is the peice that is down by the muffler. It goes across the frame and is the lowest mounting point. This is on a 2003 500F hawk. It is aluminum and cracked.
This is common with the 503F, kind of like a wearing part, cracks across bolt holes.
The engine is mounted directly metal to metal unlike the liquid cooled machines with their rubber bushings, I'll bet more of you fan folks are broken and you just don't realize it yet.
You could try to copy the liquid design and remount the plate lower, though the original holds up for a long time.
that was my trouble....of all things broken,my plate is not.tlkd should be able to get you that made....ask him about his heavy duty vynil replacement!haha
