Has anyone swapped from a 163x3" stock t3 track to a power claw 3"?

Seems like everyone loves those tracks, it's about 4.5-5lbs lighter too.

Thanks in advance!

I went from a 2.5" flexedge to a 3" PC on my '13 XM. I used T3 drivers for the 3" pitch, and T3 skid relocation brackets. The only trick was cutting off every other outer mini guide nub of the Powerclaw track: they would otherwise hit the drivers. Pretty easy, just use a hot steak knife and have good ventilation.

In 2018 cat changed the small outer nubs to full size drive nubs with the track clip on the outside. Will that make it not work on the Doo drivers?

It looks like the top track you have pictured would work fine, since those drive lugs are spaced normally. The bottom one shows the configuration I had. The mini nubs were spaced at 1/2 the pitch, and thus the nubs between the fiberglass rods had to be cut. The newer tracks would have more drive lug engagement too, never a bad thing.

Any of you gone from a doo 3" to the pc 3"?

Any negatives from the guys that are running it vs any doo track?

FWIW I have the Doo 165 3" on my 15' T3 and it works VERY well.

Add this to a SHR Trail port 800 and she climbs anywhere a clutched 850 will go.

How is the pc3 going down hill? I know the smaller 2.25 going down hill it was liking having a crazy carpet under the rails, lol But there climbed good.
