Is my turbo going bad

I have a 2011 bd turbo 2860 rs race gas deal. 4500 miles boosted since day 1 12-14 lbs. I am noticing that I am getting alot of oil coming out of the oil tank breather and the oil level in is dropping. What usually goes on these? is it the seals first then the bearings. I have a feeling I am on borrowed time with it. Thoughts?

4500 miles and hasn't even serviced? Holy crap, I would say your lucky it's gone this long.

If your turbo in your truck or car piled up at 4500miles that would be considered a lemon....

The oil has been changed at regular intervals. the system has been looked after. I have seen one before on a dragon that started blowing smoke out the exhaust. About 200 miles later the turbo piled up.

I had the same thing before with oil tank for turbo. The oil cap wasn't breathing and with heat was building pressure and forcing oil through the turbo seals, causing smoke when starting up. It also caused my oil lines to dry up from time to time and did take the turbo out due to lack of oil.

What's your point? It's not on a car or truck. You think a turbo on a sled will last forever?
