just came across a in-fared belt temp gauge made by a company called razorback technology. i guess they have been making them for a while for utv's. i wonder how well they would work on a sled. anyone have any experience with them? wonder if they would help prolong my belt life on my xm. i dont seem to be getting the mileage i ought to.

the belt life on an xm surpases most (assuming your clutches are functioning correctly and aligned). i see no need to spend money on something like this unless you are testing clutching components for temp differences.

thought about it just for testing different clutching options. heck for $250 you can't really go wrong, thats about the price of a belt anymore. i think i will bit the bullet and give it a try.
