I love this new snowguard! Had one on my 2018 KX too! wicked product. This removes the sensation of having your feet ripped off the pegs in deep snow. It also pushes snow away from your bike so an engine jacket becomes less of an issue. Obie makes a great product! Very happy with the one for my 2019 Kx can't wait to get it our ripping.

Check them out at https://rmcsnowbikes.ca/
Or on Obies site

I have the Obie snow shield and love it. It's very easy to install and it must be tough because I have stomped on the back of the right side wing 100 times looking for the rear brake that is not there. Someday I'll remember that the brake is on the bars this time of year.

Last 5 years I have cut my own version of a snowguard very similar to the Obie one (maybe they have seen my pics and produced the idea.. ;-) ) Works very well and in POW I like it a lot. When firmer conditions I remove it because it will make the most crazy sidehills harder to do.

I've always made my own out of a sheet of plastic I get on amazon. Great for deep days, but like Rob said... it's a problem on side hilling. Have to find the right balance of size. That Obie looks to be a good balance.
