'13 Pro RMK idles too high for 3-4 seconds?

Hi,

Just did a top end rebuild on my 13 Pro RMK 800. What I notice now, is that when riding, and then coming to a stop, the engine will idle at 3400 rpm for about 4 seconds before it lowers to 1850 rpm.

Does anyone know what it might be? Replaced all the gaskets there is, but I will be checking for false air.

Weird thing is that it always goes down to 1850 rpm after 4 sec.

Did you check/adjust the TPS setting? You might want to start there, before digging further. As you recognize, it's likely a lean condition.

Throttle cable

Sounds like a hanging throttle body.

I would me sure the throttle cable has a clear unobstructed route to get throttle body and is nit on the wrong side of a hose or something and make sure it's not zip tied and pulled off line with its route.
