You can make a tester using a 9V battery and a 5 V resistor from radio shack for about $5.00 or buy one from slp for $120, or better yet borrow one! What sled? ( idle) (fully opened)
(700 & 900) 0.69 - 0.71 3.575 - 3.937
(600& 800) 0.646 - 0.754 3.472 - 4.485
(1000) 0.591 - 0.699 3.477 - 4.054

I had a file showing the homemade tester and how to use it but I lost it when my old computer crashed! It was on the old snowest, maybe someone still has it. Sorry about the screwed up chart the post won't print it the same way I wrote it.

that is not true !!

Then explain how! :face-icon-small-win

good info digger, can someone explain exactly which wires to check, or more of a step by step explanation of how to do this?

I'd like to adjust mine, but not 100% sure how. I'm adding WAY more octane than my sled should (IMO) need, so I'd love to be able to change that. (not such a biggie since Avgas is only $.70 more than 91 now!!!)
