Why hasn't someone marketed a pickup version of super singles as an alternative to duals?

As a child of the 70's, I could see popping a boner at the thought of big wide rear tires, and the idea that they have a functional purpose would be icing on the cake.

Have you ever driven a truck with a 13" wide tire? I had a set of 35x13 on a truck. Ya it looked good but man did it drive like sh*t in the snow and even worse on slush. I always wondered how the big rigs handle with the wide tires like that.

I'm not an over the road hauler, but do drive enough for planting and harvest. Everyone is scrambling to get in the duals and not to get stuck in the single truck.

Blow a tire on the side of the road you can limp with a dual. With a single you're done.

This guy (jefe 4X4) runs super singles (35's) on his off road camper hauler. He can carry 3,000 lbs of truck camper and air down his tires for off road adventures all over western USA.

Our tile guy has a 04-06 3500HD dually with super singles on it. They aren't semi wheels either, probably 18s.
