Heres a few pics. Still got a ways to go. Some of the stuff you see is prototype, will be remade once I get it all done and the bugs worked out.

Turbo is Mitsubishi 16G 9.8 Off an Evo8

Really like the way this can turned out. Fits just perfect with the belleypan on. Comes out stock location.

Oil tank, needed "clearanced" a few places. This will be remade later.

Injection oil tank. I am keeping the injection, but the stocker was in the way.

Greylor 24v pump. Produces about 30psi warm with 10/30 synthetic

You can see the charge box, its not done yet. Its been a pita, but it will be done tomorrow. Tough getting around the steering shaft.

Can you explain what you are doing with your "downpipe". I don't get why you didn't just exit it, instead of almost having a muffler on it.

John, its a Mitsubishi 16G 9.8 Off an 03 Lancer Evolution 8

Milehigh, it is a muffler. I don't like obscenely loud sleds, so its muffled.

Got the rest of it done and fired it up today. Going to try to hit some snow Saturday.

Will post some more pics tomorrow.

I don't like loud sleds either but do you really need the muffler on there? Typically a turbo does a pretty good job of obsorbing/stopping a lot of sound from exiting the exhaust.

Have you ever been around a non muffled turbo 2 stroke? They are very loud when on boost.

Look throught all the posts here on SW about mufflers, and tunnel dump exhaust. Its all about the noise.

I haven't been around many 2-stroke turbos. I have some experience around turbo car motors. Typically a turbo motor on a car with a straight exhaust is quieter than a non-turbo and muffled sports car.

Good info to know. I am thinking/planning on building a turbo for my Assault. Although I think I would do a tunnel dump.

440dart, no I don't have any one anywhere near me with a similar sled or even a carbed turbo so its not going to be a good comparison. Bunch of guys around here with 2871's in M8's and a few 3071 M1000's but thats not the best comparison. By the way I got just a touch over $500 in all the turbo stuff. Got to be the cheapest horsepower ever.

The oil pump is a 24volt greylor. It probably won't last, but I had to use something to get it together.

Milehigh, Tunnel dump is the way to go. I can't realistically do it on mine. It would intrude on the footwell way more than the newer chassis.

Couple more pics of it today. Still got to wire in the rectifyer and battery, make the intake tube, and put in heavier weights. Will do that in the morning and then go see if I can find some snow.

Taking it out tomorrow for round 2. First ride was short. 4psi boost, loose adjusted wastegate caused low boost and didn't boost until 7500rpm. My oil tank vent was at the back of the tank and was pushing all my oil out so I was nearly out of turbo oil in about 30 minutes of riding and back to the truck.

All thats fixed now...

On the stand today it hit 7psi and was starting to boost at 1/4 throttle at 6500rpm so it should be much better.

Will need to play with clutching a bit. Of course I am lost when it comes to clutching. Going to be a learning process.
