anyone replace the sloppy telescopic steering posts on the 09 and up sleds with something better? thinking about buying an aftermarket chromoly steering post and riser to replace it, what are you thoughts..

also owned a factory 600 mod sled from arctic cat last year and have been thinking about trying to do the over the engine steering post set up for my m8to get it further ahead, any one seen this done. thanks in advance.

There was a thread on here with a ton of pictures of someone doing the steering post over the engine, sorry i cant remember what it was called tho. As far as the sloppy telescopic post i ordered bdx's support kit. Figued i might as well try to fix the issue before it turns into a problem. They also have a nice looking adj. cromoly steering post.

I think it was "ripsass" thread.

You can use Sno Pro parts to convert steering over the engine. But it's more trail liking mod to me. Stock post works better in deep.
