Well, I just got started this weekend. Pulled the motor to check all the mounts and to install new pistons before I install the turbo. Lots of work ahead to do but, I can't wait to get this thing running!!

I just changed the pistons on my TD8 and turned to carls cycle for advise on pistons.
They offered a special turbo piston last season and I asked them of the benfits of running them, they then said that they had stopped producing these because the new double ring polaris piston was working so good on the turbo sleds.
I went with the new dual ring pistons.

Im glad theres so many build threads on here now, have plenty of time reading them since theres no snow:S
Keep the updates coming:)

Making Progress

Made some progress over the last few days, hoping to get the chaincase back in and the turbo mounted this weekend yet.
