Hit Salmon La Sac today with a Switchback Assault and an Indy. The trail had recently been groomed and I had no trouble keeping the Switchback cool enough despite not using ice scratchers. That said the areas I rode in (Cooper and Tuqcuala Lake) had snow crunchy enough to take the Indy anywhere with no trouble. We didn’t go too far off trail but there was an abundance of mountain sleds out there that there must be good backcountry sledding somewhere.
