Posting for a friend. Sled is a 17 Axys Pro RMK 800 155 LE with a X3.2 and avid drivers, pro pulleys, and an slp pipe and can with 1600-1700 miles. I recall the numerous bog threads over the last few years but never seems like the problem was pinpointed. We had the sled in the snowies, no slp resistor, ran great for 4 days. He now has 4 days on it in Michigan at roughly 1500 feet. He forgot to put resistor in the first 2 days. Day 1 ran great. Day 2 had the infamous 6000 rpm bog. Day 3 and 4 he installed the SLP resistor for his pipe set and tried a different set of used plugs along with cleaning his powervalves which werent very dirty, bog was still there. He is NOT running the gold 100/270 spring polaris recommends for that elevation, hes running the black white 120/320 spring with 10-72s and stock secondary. Do you think its possible hes over revving from a stop but his tach isnt seeing it? Once ripping, it pulls 8200 all day. Sled idles great. I told him to do a compression test and get the gold spring. If that doesn't work do a leakdown test and check the reeds. The rollers dont look completely sacked out yet on the clutch. Thanks in advance for any suggrstion!
