I think my track is still in good shape, but not sure as I have not seen my T3 yet........jk

I would be interested in the weight comparison as well.

Already weighed the difference last year when I did my switch on my 13 XM, 03-04-14: New 3 inch 162 Camoplast Track weighs 64 lbs. Stock 163 = 60 lbs.

YEA BUT!

Camoplast is basically 15" track, with a 16" belt. Meaning the paddles are only 15" wide.

T3 has paddles on the full 16".

Guess somebody with a T3 needs to measure for us.

Camoplast 16" with 3" lugs measures 14.25" wide at the base of the paddles.

My 16" 2.5" Doo track measures 15.75 at the base.

Guessing the T3 will measure out to high 15" also?

Not really sure, just remember seeing that in the video. I doo know my 156x16x3 measures a true 16" at paddle base.

John, what does the T3 track measure at the base of the paddle? C'mon, just turn around and measure one for us.

What track is your 156?

X3 is the one that measures 14.25 on both 15 and 16 inch.

I've kicked the tires on a T3 sled, but didn't pay supper close attention to the paddle width. Just know I'd call it darn close to a true 16 inch.

Yeah, the 156x16x3" is one of the 2 3" paddles camo hasnt gone to the X3 style in. its the old style 2 ply sawtooth design. with full width paddles. all X3 tracks are 14.25" paddles at the base regardless of 15/16 wide. just extra belting.

Yah that 156X3 is a sleeper, After riding a 162 and 174 they stiffin up the handling a bit, the 156 unweights the skis without effort allowing the sled to remain flickable carving off the track, The longer X3 will have an advantage in dry deep stuff at slow speeds however the faster track speed of the 156 may be a wash once moving. the 156 is the old Camo style and is a favorite of most mountain riders, Heres a brain twister; the 156X3X16 paddle even has more paddle area pulling due to the full 16 wide than a 162X3 X15 paddle!:face-icon-small-con
