my buddy has a 2006 800. it will not rev past 7500rpms and the engine light is on. it worked great then it blew up then he did a full rebuild now it cannot reach full RPM and EMS pilot lamp blinks. help!

The EMS light blinking means there's an active code/problem with one of the sensors. Check to make sure he has all the connectors attatched properly. The other thing to keep in mind is the 7500 RPM limit may not be related to the ems fault, but rectifying the blinking light problem first is essential..
