A mountain sled in Maine

I picked up my sled a little over a month ago, and I've been praying for snow ever since. I plan on adding a few accessories over time, nothing too drastic. Bumpers and storage. In the mean time i took advantage of one of Rehab Wraps sales. I can't say enough about the company. Awesome product and awesome customer service.

I drive a Toyota Tacoma and unfortunately even with the RMK ski stance the skis don't fit between the wheel wells. This gave me a great opportunity to build myself a sled bed. I made the ramp two pieces so it can slide underneath the bed. I currently ordered ski guides for it and am waiting on those to come in.

Good looking sled and nice 1st generation Tacoma.

Nice job on home built sled-deck.If I didn't have 2 sleds I'd have one too.2000 Tacoma XC 4x4 for me.

That's understandable lol, to be honest I bought my goggles before I ever heard of judged!

Are you going to be at the Maine snowmobile show all weekend? I'm going to be there tomorrow evening after work for a few hours

I built a similar ramp/deck used it for two seasons but got sick of the weight and it always freezing to the bed liner so I bought an aluminum ramp this year hopefully you don't have the same problems

Love the wrap...looking good. There were more RMK/SKS's sold in the NE then short track polaris sleds. (info came from NH polaris dealer)

Thanks, yeah my dealer said basically the same thing. Basically only sleds selling the last three or four years are mountain sleds and tourings
