Whats with the tent pole holding together the right side of the chassis? It looks like a fairly important structural piece.

wow it looks silly!!

so much time put into nice, fancy lightweight castings throughout the rest of the sled...then we have a piece of steel tubing squished at both ends with a bolt thru it. I would be getting some red loctite out if i owned one.

Someone must have been asleep at the wheel.

Anyone got the reason for it??

I could foresee a market for a nice TI piece (or at least Aluminum tube with billet ends) to replace that hideous bit of Engineering? The castings on the PRO have a spot for one also but they chose not to utilize them.

I thought you were going to mention the cracked belly pan where the bumper bolts go through and have been over tightened Both mine and my buddies sled are split on one side by this over tightened TORX BOLT.
