In need of 03 intake boot/reed!

This should be in the swapmeet section but I am in dire need of an intake/reed for an 03 700!

Finally got my motor rebuilt and was rejetting the carbs when I noticed my intake boot was torn and soon to get worse if i kept it on.

So I am just hoping to find some sort of replacement... used, new, aftermarket??

I would appreciate any sort of reference to find one!!

Check into kimpex boots. I just put some on my summit 800, and I was impressed with the quality.

I have a set of used ones. I took them off 3 years ago to put on V-Force reeds. They are starting to show some very small cracks in them. If you want them I'll let them go for $50 shipped.

These are 03 boots/reeds?

From what Im finding out the rubber on these boots are known for dry rotting after a short time.

Im looking into new Boysen rage cages.. Anyone ever tried these?

I have also heard a lot of complaints on the V 3's because of the reed pedals fall apart after only a thousand miles or so..

Yes , these are off of a 03 summit 700. The V- Force boots completely cracked through this year. I just bought the Boyesen and so far I like them.

Well I do appreciate it. I am looking on ebay right now and have found another set of OEM boots with no cracks or rot.
I will let you know if I am interested in yours
