Dropped my sled off at the shop today to get some work done, looking like a bit of snow around the 5500-6k come middle of next week, be nice to get a road ride locally soon but I usually don’t until mid/late December

Historically riding by last week of November
Historically I've done some road raging every season for the past couple 10 years at GC by the last week of November. Doesn't look good for this year. I'm planning on taking the dirt bike and drone up to GC on Sunday to scout around, see if there's a snowline higher up. If I get some good shots I'll post video early next week.

Slim pickings
Took the moto out and toured around GC Sunday. Only found small patch of snow at 4800ft. Forecast is looking good for later this week though..

ya but last year I was riding the 6th of nov which was 2.5 to 3 weeks early however look at snowqualmi pass and snowing right now 11/21/18 and looks like snow for 10 days or so, still early. just waiting for crystal mt web cams to show snow also.

UPDATE snowqualmi closed to all non chained up vehickles except 4x4's 11/22/18 and still dumping.

not to much to get excited about yet, last season was real surprised with early snow and made 1st ride on 11/6/17 but traditionally we all went up on 1st sat after thanksgiving to greenwater area and rode the roads, still has to dump 23 3/4 in before I am doing a road ride.

went up today to horse camp out of greenwater about 1030 11/23/18 took car as I wanted to ck out the 4x4 capability of machine, saw 1st sled tracks of season today about 8-10 in at area and was still snowing just like snowqualmi pass . saw 1 more truck heading up there with 2 sleds but lots of jeeps running roads today.

I went for a ski tour today to work off some of the turkey from Thursday. I should have taken the sled, I would have fit in with the other dozen sleds that were out for a road ride today.
Stay on the road. No base yet.

Rode the SxS up to Quartz Mtn yesterday...around 6k elevation. About a foot of powder..no base at all and lots of rocks and stumps poking out. Definitely NOT rideable...
We unloaded at 3000 in about a foot, rode to 6000 where there was probably 3.5 feet depending on aspect/wind
