Just thought I would ask if a 2008 162 brand new with the track switched out to a powerclaw is a good deal at 8000.00 out the door 7700.00 without the track switched (stock Challenger) and would this be better or worse than a used m1000. If i go with the 1000 is 07 or 08 better All i know is the rear skid and the primary clutch is different anything else? Or should the new 08 m8 be the one to go with?

I spoke with a pretty well known cat dealer about the diff between the 08 and 09 and he says that besides the obvious like the steering post that the track is the biggest diff. Very little changed in the ecu programming and motor

changes

there a quite a few changes between the 09-08 m8, many new things that are cool, way lighter also then 08. I personally had a 07 m1000 and would not buy a 07 model, there are too many upgrades to make it work as good as a 08 model. And the 09 is that much better.
