I know the stock tank is almost 4 quarts, do you use a half of a tank of oil? It depends on oil consumption, have you figured out what ratio your sled runs?

The bottom cover is the same height as the stock cover. Only difference is the stock cover has more of a beveled edge than ours. But they are the same height because of speed sensor.

TKILLC, If I run through 12 to 13 gallons of fuel the oil will make it through the day?

There are days we use that much or more if we have to run further out to get to the better snow.

Just takes a little math. If your sled is running at 32:1, 12 gallons of fuel will require 48oz of oil. So you will use 3/4 of the 64oz (2qt) tank. At 30:1 you will use 51oz = 80% of the tank. At 28:1 you will use 55oz = 86% of the tank. If you burn 13 gallons and your sled is using oil at 28:1 ratio you will use 59oz = 93% of the tank. Just watch your consumption and fill it up every time you fuel the sled. For guys that pack gas, you will just have to watch it.

Can anyone tell me if this system will work on the m6000 with the oil injection pump being on the side of the stock case now?

Thanks

Not sure if I missed something, but what about the kit fitting a 15? And also what is the recommended gear ratio everyone is going with initially?

Thanks

Talk to TKI. I forgot what I ordered but told them I had 2014 M8000, was going with 7 tooth drivers and 3" track. They told me what I should get. Should be a good starting point.

I talked with Tom on the kit fitting the 15 Proclimb prior to ordering mine. The kit will fit the 15. The top gear is held on with a lock ring instead of a bolt on the 15 and the top bearing needs to be replaced. The bearing is included in the kit. I also believe the jack shaft is larger in diameter than the previous years, so the top gear is different.

Stock gears on the 15 are 19t/50b for a 2.63 ratio. I will be running a supercharger and a 156 x 3 camo extreme with the belt drive. Tom recommended the stock ratio for my application.

There are detailed instructions on how to get the bearing out. Pretty easy, use a hot air gun don't use a open flame. You start it on fire and your screwed.

Is this your's installed? if so did you take some photos along the way during the install?

I am a little worried about getting that bearing out and the new one in.

Sorry I didn't take any pics along the way. As Tom said there's very good instructions and the bearing is pretty easy to get out and back in. One thing I messed up in that pic is the large washer on the upper gear wasn't supposed to be reused. :noidea:

I think mine will be equivalent to 20/50 - 14 162 basically stock (hps can) Don't quote me on that though. It's whatever Tom suggested.

People are generally running the 2.52 gearing.

We have one guy that is still running the 2.33 ratio on his sled with 7 tooth drivers and a 3" track with some engine mods. We have one guy running 2.42 as well.

Most of the kits I have sold are 2.52 though

Anybody updating to the 2015 shaft before doing the belt drive kit?
