99 RMK 7- grease zerk stripped out of T-arm

While greasing the sleds up last summer the grease zerk for the spindle on the right T-arm pulled out when I tried to pull the grease gun off the zerk. Is there an easy fix for this aside from a new T-arm?

The stock zerks are pressed in. You can "sometimes" tap it and screw a threaded zerk in. You have to be careful to not use a zirk that is too long so that it binds against the spindle.

The other thing you can do is tack weld a 1/4" nut on the arm. But that is a lot of work and will ruin the powdercoat in that area.

I had no idea they were press in... it damn sure wouldn't stay in there when I tried to put it back in!
What about a small dab of JB weld around the outside of the zerk?
