Nice sled. What are your plans with it?

I grew up on those babies, every one of them was made in my home town, by my parents and their friends on the line in Horicon, WI! (which is still a town of less than 4000 people btw)
It was pretty sweet when we were kids and the semi stopped in front of our house to drop off the new ones we bought still in the crate!

Go Big John Deere!!!

Some people will buy deere underwear and nostalgia sells the old deere sleds as performance will sell a newer liquifire....
They were well designed but that didn't make them a good trouble free
sled .....
If it doesn't "turn your crank" , trade it to someone that will want to
restore it while it might be in decent shape...
Locally , here in Ont..only a couple guys restore them and the rest become parts , or beaters for a kid , or just disappear under crap in
a farm shed..
...
Nice to see them restored but doubt you will ever see your money back
if you sell it later ....
.
Found this site because of a hydraulic drive Yam listed on it...and would
like to add it to my collection other than the distance driving this time
of year....If he still kept it .hope to hear from him if he will hold to July.
Put on over 4,500 mile in 06 collecting them...got as far as North Dakota.

HYDRAULICYAM, what all are you interested in collecting? I have been thinking about trimming the fleet and might have a few vintage I would let go. Let me know and if you ever make it this way again maybe we can work something out if you are interested in some of the sleds I have.

Hi the hog .....HYDRAULICYAM, what all are you interested in collecting?
.
I have limited my self to the fluid drive Yamahas from 72 to 77....
EW643, TL433, TW433 and PR440(prestige).....
A nice one further down the list and probably sold since I didn't commit
to the long drive , this time of year..about 26 asst drive units, about 18 in
frames , 9 or 10 will run with a fight ...:face-icon-small-hap
. Always watching for better versions....sno jet's PR listed below looks
to be in excellent shape.......Need a 75 TL433G that is in better shape than my current 75's.

No liquid drive Yamahas in my collection. Only vintage Yami I have is a 78 SRX 440. I have a couple JD's I would consider selling and a Polaris TX and Polaris Centurion that I would also consider selling. Like I said I need to trim the fleet a little.
