To Ya’ll,

We just bought some distressed inventories of 09’ Ski-Doo Everest 163” sleds for a HUGE discount directly from Ski-doo and some from other distressed dealers.

These sleds were right at $11k MSRP.

Due to the socialist march we are headed down to “save” us from this recession, there may be a bright spot here! We have had 12 other recessions we have came out of and flourished. Hopefully we can escape this one without a socialist-mortgage on our back.

Dealers/manufactures are selling/offering us their inventories cheap. These sleds will sell to you at $7,495. That is a little CHEAPER than a 1998 Yamaha Mountain max was. 1998 people! I was a little lighter in the gut and no where near married all those years ago.

09’ sled is 1000 times the sled of 1998.

PLEASE Call us 208-356-4000. YOU ALL HAVE ALLOT OF QUESTIONS AS TO WHAT MODELS, COLORS, WARRANTY INFO, ECT ECT. There are allot of variables in what each person is looking for. We DO HAVE other models at similar discounts. But please call and talk to salesman. You can PM me if needed, BUT the quantities and avaliblity are changing everyday and hour as the sleds sell.

Thanks to all you!! More snow where you ride and powder in your face.

I will take the chewing!

I think this is news worthy outside of the fact i am trying to pimp the sleds.

I think it says allot about the economy and the price of a brand new sled!

$7495 for a NEW 09 800 163'. Black and yellow (mostly models that are coming).

Arguably the best moutain sled out of the box out there...that's just nuts. Some of these are from the factory...that's just news in and of itself. the fact that this deal exisits says allot about things right now.

But if it rolls some peoples feathers i will undo it and magically wisk it away.

Not trying to chew on your a$$ but wouldn't this thread be more appropriate in the Swapmeet section?

Naw, Not really.
I mean this IS some good news and even though he's peddling his inventory I think this would make some folks consider getting a new sled at this price that wouldn't otherwise even look in the swapmeet knowing they were $11.000.

Did any of that make sense? !!!

I'll forgive him!:D

Besides, there's no snow and nothing else to do but read posts on SW!

Distressed....like a damsel, i think.

Distressed in this case is where a dealer has to return sleds to the OEM for resale (dealer is screaming Armageddon!) or the OEM wants to sell a discount to the dealer (Rexburg Motor) at an excellent rate that is retuened to you.

The snocheck situation....wow i feel your pain. But the economy has hit just about everyone that bought a new item in the past. Like trading in a 'new" old truck right now. I did that rodeo recently. Bad deal.

BUT if your in a position to buy. You are in PREMIUM position right now. $7495 is just....stupid for a sled like that. IMO (as in don't beat me up if this doesn't come true) i think an 09' Doo at that price will loose LITLLE of it's value in 2010. I just don't see 2010 sleds EVER getting that cheap. They just can't.

You may be able to own a sled you will loose very little on after a year of riding it. IMO! again...no kidney punches in a year if i am wrong. But common sense says you are in a good position at that buy price.

and i did put this in swapmeet originally. but the response and just the comments on it from people who weren't even going to buy made me think it's worth something anyone can relate to. It truly tells a story in and of itself....your buddies will be saying "did you see on Snowest where Rexburg motorsports is selling 09's for $7,495!" It just brings up ALLOT of topics. economy, deals out there right now, what will happen in 2010, ect.

and....yes...i am peddling! But it's worth the read. Even if your not buying.

Their is nothing you can do to predict the future. What if the economy was great and the price of sleds was higher then when you snowchecked. Then every thing would be fine.
In general snowmobiles are a great way to waste alot of money. Look at even last year. $10,000 msrp for 800xp everst and people were paying full retail plus shiping and assembly at the begining of winter. $10,500 is what alot of places were charging before tax for a brand new xp 154 everest. Jan comes along and I thought I got a really good deal of $9,500. Other dealers wanted $9,800-$9,900. If I had waited another month and a half I could have got the same sled from the same place for $8,500. Could have saved $1,000 on the sled for waiting a month and a half or payed $1,000 more and got it a month earlier.
A buddy got a used 700miles 08 xp x for $7,500 at the end of the riding season. It was a great deal at the time.

If I did not have a sled right now I would buy a 09 163 everst for $7,500 in a second. But I have a 08 154 everst that I owe alot more then I could sell it for. I will probably keep my sled for atleast one more year before getting some thing else. And when I do get a new sled it will be a year old left over or a used sled. Unless some thing comes out that is that much better then every thing else I can justify loseing the $2000 or more you will lose buying a brand new first year sled. I thought the xp was that much better then everything else out on the market in 08. I felt my m7 with big bore, twin pipes, etc was better then every thing else on the market except the xp.
So what are used xp's worth now that you can get a brand new 09 for $7,500?

But a heck of allot of fun!!!!!

I do see some of the pickle we are going to be in. I do. Own a 06' 07' diesel truck right now....wow. Not much to move up to. Some stuff we will have to use longer.

the good in this may be that the OEMs will LOWER the MSPR in the future. i think. We always complained about the price. But we still paid. Don't know if that's the case anymore.

Maybe the days of the right priced sled will return.
