They don't make avy poles that long.

Glad they filmed from the chopper.
From the start of a small little dust cloud, to the whole dam mountain errupting downhill. Shows mother natures fury at her worst.
Thankfully no one down hill, but a lesson us all to look at, a small slide can erupt to a major slide, in a moments notice.
Lets all becarefull out there, not just us in the know hopefuly those outside, the know, maybe be takes a helmet to helmet thunk. Not promoting hit and a moron on the helmet with a helmet, although once in the backcountry, may be warranted.
We need to find a way to let the dummbazzes know how to survive, what to look for.

Watching avalanche's at a safe distance is incredible. That thing had some serious power. It looks like lava flowing.
