pulled the hood on my xm to top off coolant
(think i had some air in there still)
anyways thought i would grab the old bath
scale and it came in @ 22.8 lbs w/ the glove
box ext.
weight loss would be easy here, the problem
i think is how to make an aftermarket/ homemade
hood w/o it being too ugly.

The intake box is the size of the hood. Yes a cuple of filters and venting would get rid of a lot of weight.
Who's gunna do it first and test it?

Mine was low on coolant too. I was wondering if it was from rolling it over a few times. Was thinking of leaving it low......maybe not a good idea?[/QU top up ,but chances are it will be low after your next ride if so than just leave it thats what we have done with no issues.

Ya thought the same about being low on coolant guess what happens when you remove the cap even after 1 day of not being ran??? ya the only 1 in below full mark becomes gyser overflow , none of my other sleds have ever done this. go ahead give it a try:face-icon-small-hap

I really wish the aftermarket would give us an alternative for the xm and the xp. Similar to what diamond S makes for the pro. With enough venting one could easily lose the second (forward) airbox. IMHO

find a way to get rid of the airbox and mount the new BRP RS race hood it's an XM don't see why it wouldn't work?
