Time to retire the rx1

I think this will be the last year on my good old RX1. It's been a lot of fun, but I'm ready for a bit more power and a little less weight... I'm about 100lbs heavier myself than most I ride with, and most I ride with own newer 800's or bigger so I struggle a bit in some of the terrain they accel in, but I think it makes me a better rider! I love the nytro's rider forward, lighter weight and power with boost, so I think that's the direction I'll be going next year. Frankly, I think the 5 year old design and reliability has proven itself over the "other" new 4 strokes... Especially boosted.

Anybody move from a na rx1/apex to a boosted nytro? How'd you feel about your decision?

Some of the terrain I have to climb out of just to get home after riding with the local 2 strokes. This particular climb was a PITA due to the combination of week old set up turn out ruts and real loose pow everywhere else, and the cornice at the end of the climb made for a bit of fun. (Warning if your kids are around! there is a bit of foul language at the end... I was a bit excited)

Thanks! I learned to ride with guys that would tell me how wonderfully easy it is to get into and out of places here that are actually unbelievably challenging and technical. That's Alaskan machismo for you. Wish my buddy had a better camera that day! The pixelation is terrible at the beginning!
