I have a 99 700 with a good bottom end and was wondering if an 01 800 top end would fit on the 700 bottom? Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

The 800 cylinder have the same bolt pattern on the base and head geasket areas you would need to bore the upper cases to 95mm to take the 800 cylinders.
The port timing in close and will work if there not ported.
But as far as the crank or upper rod bearing there is only 2 ways to use the 800 cylinders.
The 700 has a 20mm pin and a 25mm upper rod
The 800 has a 22mm pin and a 27mm upper rod
You would either have to use a 800 crank or find a bearing set up to work with a 22mm pin with a 25mm upper rod you may be able to find separate pins like a Seadoo watercraft or Skidoo engine the smallest pins I know of are 2mm but your going to need 1.5mm roller pins ad about 30 per rod.
Other then that I would search for a Big Bore piston for the 700 with the 20mm pin.
I know of someone that did a big bore kit for the 700 I will try to find the info.

Just to let you know, Price Performance makes just that size roller pins, only it's for a 23/20mm combo and not 25/22mm. Believe it was 28 roller pins but ask Mark at Price if you want to pursue it.
