I'm getting back into snowmobiling after a 5 or so year hiatus and am trying to make my mind up if a 2017 is fine or if its worth the extra $3,000+ for an 2018. I see the differences are a new head, new pipe, new shock valving, some wiring differences etc. anyone with thoughts on if the differences are worth the extra $$$

For three grand, I would go with the 17 and either hang onto that money or, use it for upgrades or you have more $$$ for more trips!!!

The small small small updates to the 18 are NOT worth 3 grand. Save your money and enjoy the 17!

get the 17' and $1,500-$2,000 upgrading it, you'll be money a head and on a better machine.
