I ordered part numbers off the Race 600 MCZ 600 RS
508 000 959 small hood vent
508 000958 belly pan vent

They have both the fine mesh material and the pet screen material sandwiched together.
I ran water on it and it holds the water so it should keep out the snow dust and the pet screen style material may or may not keep out the twigs !!

How can I post pics off my iPhone onto this thread ?

But I can ? % confirm the 600 MXZ race sled hast the screen and the mesh in its front vents .

Does anyone know if the engine intakes on the race sled also have both the mesh and the screen ?

I found a hole in my screens on my 17 G4 Summit and need to replace. I'm in the process of purchasing the 959 and 958 however not sure (nor is dealer) if they'll fit. RAB can you confirm these filters fit the Summit?
Thanks and Cheers

I noticed a lot of slippage without them. I plan to install them, and make some vents for the side panel for added cooling.

The summits from 17 up should have came with them in my opinion. In deep snow the cab fills with snow, all the way out to the clutches. I know there are a lot of other issues going on there with the belt trouble, but this is just a terrible thing to add to the equation.

I'll also be blocking off the footwells too. I found a lot of snow got kicked into the clutch area from there.

definitely check for a crack in there as not that much snow should come through, as if it is that deep it will clog up, also I know you said aftermarket preferred, but the 19 grill is dialled and I would not run one but both, and instead of kicking in the snow from the foot well try stepping it down through the slots, it might take a bit of getting use to but blocking off the exit of hot air is not the way to make things run cooler and if you have not already add the 2019 vent intake, it is the best way to cool down the clutches and the cheapest at 75.00 US dollars. Hope that helps. cheers dave

Thanks for the reply Dave. I'm certain there isnt any cracks or anything like that on my sled. The snow is super super fine here at -30. I'm sure it could sneak it's way through the cab of the sled. I got my 600rs pre filter vents yesterday. They look great and installed super easy. Takes all of about 30 seconds to install and great fitment. Priced pretty decent too. I've got a peice of plastic cut out for the toe hold.. it looks pretty rough, but I'm going to see how it goes and make a new more cosmetically pleasing one if it works good.

Just an observation,

I find that the side panels don’t really fit or seal up that well. Especially along the tops, there is a decent gap there in the G4 and snow does most certainly make its way in there when it’s really deep.

I’m not sure if the snow around the footwells is problematic or not.

Even more so after day 4 of handlebar deep pow. The foam freezes up once waterlogged and doesn't seal.
