Found this little gem while I was walking some backroads downtown the other day. 1952 Opel.

Whoa, I found the scans of the pics of that old rootbeer colored 72 that had the 427 in it.

These pics were taken in fall of 1999 at the Silver Auction in Sun Valley, ID.

I'd love to see a retro workable new pickup roll off the line.

Influences from the '59 Chev Apache.

59 meets 2015... Updated and modernized with a LS-7

Or one of these... a 1968 D200... I had one of these for 10 years.

Put a small Diesel in it and 4x4 .... Retro Re-pop... ... wow that would be cool.

He!! If you put them all in front of me I couldn't decide between a 5 window Chevy, a real 4wd Apache, 67-72 Chevy or GMC, Power Wagon or a F250 hi boy......and I don't even like Fords.

And Vern, the 01-02 Chevy HDs are the baddest looking "new" Chevy, by far.

I just want a 96-98 (&99 Classic) K1500 but brand new. In order I've had a 98 Sierra, 99 Sierra Classic, then bought an 05 Silverado, ended up selling it to get another OBS, a 97 Silverado. Love the Low end torque of the 5.7 vortec, anyone telling you 350s are slow is blowing smoke all mine will pull on a 5.3 up to 80 mph. Max torque is appx. 2700 rpm unlike the 5.3 of 4800 rpms. Love the grilles, love the body lines, love the interiors except for the radio and speakers, really miss my bose speakers, steering wheel buttons, and full center console on my 05 though. First pic is my 98 I picked up for $1600 and drove it a whole year and then doubled my money on it, 2nd is my 99 Classic which I kick myself in the arse for ever selling! Put brand new Firestone Destination MT's on right after that pic than sold the truck shortly after. Next is my 05 and last is the truck I currently own, plan on doing a 6" lift and 35s on it in the spring. Just got it a few months ago and knew I had my new sled coming so didn't want to stick too much coin into it. Maybe I'm not retro enough for you guys but man would I be slinging the bills if I could buy one of these trucks brand new

Quit it. Stop all of you. My wallet can't handle this!

Actually I saw an 86 Chevy Squarebody one ton Crew Cab the other day that I thought would be awesome with a 12 valve cummins in it.

I know this isn't really a retro truck but this is a 1996 Dodge with a Cummins that only has 25,000 miles on it. This was my father in-law's truck and he passed. Everybody called him "Pa" so it is now PAS TRK. It is currently at Weaver's Diesel having the pump tuned and a shift kit put in the tranny. It will be ready for hunting and riding season.

I really like those trucks too. I would do unforgivable things to find a nice late 90's 454 vortec powered CC/SB 3/4 ton 4x4 that hasn't been through the ringer.
