I finally got all my parts to put my proclimb back together. I'm doing a new tunnel and I'm using a vanamburg rear bumper on it and my question is do you really need the small triangle piece that rivets to the drop bracket and extense back to the stock bumper?

If so I may have to make a 90 bend and rivit it to the out side of the bumper.

I cut out the flat piece when I installed the Vanamburg Bumper. I think it does take away some of the strength. I also broke one of the gussets but that was because if the tight fit with the 1/4 thick bumper. I had to bevel the bottom portion of the gusset openings so it would fit properly. Make sure everything fits before you get it powder coated. You also have to remove the foot rail to install. Good luck.
