F/S - More than a Mountain Max, less than a Nytro

Hello,
Is anyone interested in purchasing a 97 Yamaha 748 (Modified) Mountain Max?

I am wanting to get $2000. Last year I paid $3400.

I bought it last year - as a beginner. The truth is, I am not "into" a loud sled. I really wasn't sure if I would love riding, so I did'nt want to commit the money for a new sled. This machine allowed me to run (and beat) the 800's, but now I think I am ready for a Nytro. Last year I didn't have the money, now I do.....BUT my wife says, "you have to sell your old one first!" Doesn't that just suck!

The sled is in really good condition. The guy I bought it from really paid attention to the details. He is about 55 years old, and did things right.

I don't want to "talk this sled up" because it doesn't need it. The performance speaks for itself. Did I say that I wanted a Nytro!

Here are the specs:
Hartman big bore, porting, head work, case porting, enlarged oil passages $2100
Custom clutch and helix $250
159" long track kit with 159x2x15 camoplast series IV $1000
carbon fiber reeds and spacers $175
gearing and chain $135
SLP ceramic coated triple pipes $1100
Works shocks $1000
Northern Lites - drop and rolled chain case $800
Light wr rear suspension $750
MPI - Light wt brake rotor and hub $180
SS brake line $60
C&A pro skis and scratchers $300
6.5" articulating bar riser $75
Left hand throttle $75
8 tooth anti-ratchet drivers $150
5 SLP flow-rite air inlets $100
I also have a cover - excellent condition.
The sled also has hand guards .

This was Tom Hartman's sled - back in the day.

Thanks for looking.
